Website Funding and Committee Approved

The voters meeting approved plans for Steve White to work with volunteers: Julie H, Wayne B, Helen W, Josh S, Lisa M and Grace O on the Church website.  A website is crucial to draw  younger members, and the rules on the virtual highways and much more flexible than highway signs.  He stated that he is using Google Sites which is free, but the web address is too long.  He requested $50 for domain hosting costs.

The website would include, service times, calendars, prayer requests, guest book, virtual tour, directions to church, weather, contact information, announcements, surveys, and our beliefs.

Discovery is still being done on where to store video and sermon audio.  It is possible that the website will be used in conjunction with Facebook, Google and Google maps as a referral points.
